It’s obvious that every student deserves guidance from a good teacher and as well the reverse is true as a good student indirectly tells the kind of a teacher one got through with.

From Kindergarten, through primary to High school, we all go through a life of constant learning, through the guidance of different teachers but however the best teachers remain rare to find and at some extent one may say that a good teacher is one in a million.Through my process of learning, changing blackboards though, they still remain black. I have tried to take caution, trying to figure out who the best teacher is. And as a research and concern that I shared with many of my fellow students. Well, we came up with some characters, values, spirit to mention but a few for a good teacher to us who managed and will always do suit our inner expectations and preferences as well.A good teacher is any teacher who gives me the best quality of education that equips me with the necessary knowledge and skills of doing a certain activity extra-ordinary well. A teacher who cares and minds about my ability of understanding rather than criticizing me. A teacher who doesn’t blame me from the point of view that I’m a failure but however finds the courage to believe and have hope in me that I can make to success once I incur the necessary commitment, dedication and hardworking.A good teacher is any kind of a teacher who is so sensitive to my grades and my level of academic excellence as well. For instance when they’re poor, I would love a teacher who demands a lot of explanations as to why I have failed and well shows me the best way to excel by giving me the best tips to success.A good teacher is anyone who prepares and shapes me into an extra-ordinary student who does extra-ordinary things extra-ordinary well, a teacher who literally prepares me to face successfully any kind of an exam that comes my way no matter how tough it may be.And lastly a good  teacher is one who encourages, motivates and inspires me into a hardworking, committed, dedicated, creative and innovative student with high self esteem towards success in life.  Though in my line of learning I have got a chance to pass through such responsible hands of good teachers but still the fact remains that such teacher with the kind of a spirit, character and values are rarely seen, hard to find and it’s one in a million who willing to offer such a service.Dear good teachers my humble question is always one, is that really too much to ask?May God bless every good teacher!!The writer is a student at Kagarama secondary school In form 6HEG
