Dear Editor,

I would like to thank the government for the efforts they are putting into phasing out the ideologies of genocide. Much as we commemorate the death of our loved ones, it is important that we live in Unity.

This year, teachers in schools were trained about importance of ruling out the ideology. Iam glad that these values will be passed on to our children as well so that we can have a generation of reconciliatory citizens.

I was reading a beautiful supplement on EDPRS that you ran on Monday this week and realised that unity is a strong background for Rwanda’s economic development.

I therefore urge fellow Rwandans to continue fighting the ideology so we can achieve a common goal of development.
