It’s almost the end of the term and soon school children will break off for holidays. But what do they plan to do during the holidays?  Kigali City School and Kanombe Primary School children shared with Children’s Times’s Martin Bishop their holiday plans: I will be reading my books and helping people at home with housework. Patience Umukunzi, Kigali City School------------------------------------------------

I will go to the village and get close to animals like goats, cows and birds. Cyspin Ruzibiza, Kigali City School---------------------------------------------

I’ll watch my entire favourite cartoon series and read picture books. Rubulika Edward Yves, Kanombe Primary School--------------------------------------------

What I like about the holidays is that you spend enough time with your parents, relatives and friends without worrying about school or getting late. Robert Tuyishime, Kigali City School-----------------------------------------

I will visit the library during the school holidays and check out new books. Charity Neza, Kigali City School----------------------------------------------

I plan to spend the whole holiday with my grandparents; it’s always fun. Higiro Rodriguez, Kanombe Primary School
