Two-hundred Burundian police personnel will soon be sent to Rwanda for a peace keeping mission training.The announcement was made by Burundi’s Police Chief who is in the country on a three-day visit to Rwanda National Police (RNP).The visit is aimed at harmonising and strengthening the bilateral relationships between Rwanda and Burundi as well as share experience on a variety of security related deals."This is an opportunity to see what we have achieved and where to put much effort so as to effectively handle security related matters,” André Ndayambaje said on Wednesday at the RNP headquarters in Kigali. He said there have not been serious cases that threaten the safety of both countries, today.Rwanda National Police chief Emmanuel Gasana promised a continuous and sustainable partnership between the two neighbouring countries.He noted that sharing information has and should be a top priority as it helps to detect and prevent Trans boundary crimes like human trafficking and terrorism.
