Despite losing 1-0 to Libya in their build-up international match on Wednesday, Amavubi Stars skipper Olivier Karekezi is still optimistic Rwanda can sting Mali Eagles to win the decisive Fifa World Cup Brazil 2014 qualifier to be played on Sunday at Amahoro stadium."Rwandans should believe in us. Of course we know we have disappointed them a lot of times. We have also been disappointed but we all in this together and we need to stay together to get where we want to be.” said Karekezi. In spite of playing at home, where they have a relatively good record against visiting team, Amavubi will start Sunday’s crucial clash as underdogs, yet, the vastly experienced Karekezi, s not ready to throw in the towel. He insisted, "Everything is possible in football and even though Mali finished third in 2013 Afcon finals, we still have a chance to win the game. It is time for us (Amavubi) to move forward in international football.”Rwanda must avoid defeat if they are to retain any hopes of making it to the final qualifying round for Brazil. Rwanda is bottom with one point making this month’s qualifier against Mali so crucial to the bedraggled Amavubi.
