Team Uhuru Foundation is working on a star-studded performance list of artistes from America, Jamaica, Nigeria, Ghana, South Africa and Tanzania for the inauguration bash.Some of the names suggested are U.S acts Rihanna, Chris Brown, Nicki Minaj and Toni Braxton. Jamaican stars who are also set to be contacted are Alaine and Burning Spear.A source within the foundation who requested anonymity said, "Yes we are in direct contact with the artistes and we are at the preliminary stage where we are asking for their diaries.”"The inauguration bash will be separate from the official state inauguration event. It will be funded by individuals under the Team Uhuru Foundation and not by the government. The preparations are at the early stages but are based on how the petition to the Supreme Court goes,” the source added.Prime Minister Raila Odinga filed a Supreme Court appeal against Uhuru Kenyatta’s victory in the presidential elections. The matter will be determined in 14 days after it was filled.
