Editor,One thing that annoys me is the manner these animals are transported. Cattle dealers just haul them into trucks. The animals are squeezed with neck or leg twisted almost to breaking point with the cows groaning in pain for so many kilometres.

The animals are squeezed with neck or leg twisted almost to breaking point with the cows groaning in pain for so many kilometres. Yes, they are animals but they, too, feel pain. The police should thus enforce a rule of fair transport conditions for them.
