One person, a motorcycle passenger, died on the spot in an accident that took place on the Kigali-Kibungo highway today morning. The 7:15am accident occurred at Remera.

Eye witnesses said the driver of an over speeding coaster rammed into a motorcyclist who seemingly attempted to overtake a stationary bus.

Police identified the deceased as Jean-Baptiste Bagenzi. The motorcyclist was seriously injured and immediately rushed to Kanombe Hospital.
