THE 2013 Genocide memorial tournament will be held in May according to the new chairman of the Rwanda Volleyball Federation, Gustave Nkuruzinza.Nkurunziza told Times sport yesterday that the tournament will attract teams from Kenya, Uganda, Burundi, Tunisia and hosts Rwanda.With the partnerships between FRVB and Tunisia volleyball federation, the Northern African country is expected to send two teams to spice up the tournament."We are yet to confirm the dates of the tournament but we expect a good tournament which will give good experience to our players and even raise the level of the competition with new entrants from Tunisia.”Last year’s edition was never hosted due to financial constraints but this time round, the local volleyball federation is optimistic funds will be available since they have already started early planning.
