The Rwandan Embassy in the Netherlands on Tuesday held a tourism promotion event in Amsterdam at the Inholland University – Diemen Campus.

Co-sponsored by the Turkish Airlines and Inholland University, the event aimed to provide Dutch tour operators, travel agents, and businesses and travel journalists with comprehensive information about unique tourism opportunities in Rwanda, latest developments in tourism and to connect them directly with tourism industry and Rwandan businesses.

"Turkish Airlines which started direct flights to Kigali from Istanbul, last year, shared experience on its routes to Rwanda and offered more information on how to access Rwanda from Europe,” said Eric Rugamba, an official at the Embassy of Rwanda, The Hague.

The theme for the event was "Rwanda, your Next Destination in Africa.”
