Rwanda Athletics Federation has named the final squad that will represent the country at this year’s World Crosscountry which will be held on March 24 in Poland.The coach, Eric Karasira, while announcing the five-man team on Monday, said the delegation will depart on March 21, three days before the competition gets underway, and will return to Rwanda on March 26.The team includes three home-based runners; Robert Kajuga, Cyriaque Ndayikengurikiye, and Felix Ntirenganya, while Eric Sebahire and Jean Baptiste Simukeka, all based in Italy, will link up with their team mates in Poland. "We have assembled a very good side and they are ready for the challenge owing to the fact that they have shown much resilience in training,” Karasira told Times Sport.He added, "We’re taking an experienced team so I am optimistic about our chances to do well because we have prepared very well. It’s going to be a tough competition but we need to be positive, after all we have nothing to lose.” The team is in intensive training in Gicumbi, and Karasira noted, "Gicumbi is good place to train and the boys are in good condition.”
