The former presidential candidate of the just concluded Kenya Presidential elections, Martha Karua, has conceded defeat and called on fellow colleagues to follow suit.

The former presidential candidate of the just concluded Kenya Presidential elections, Martha Karua, has conceded defeat and called on fellow colleagues to follow suit.Karua a member of parliament since 1992, the former magistrate was the only female candidate.She tweeted on her account @MarthaKarua: "Congratulations to president elect Uhuru Kenyatta and deputy president elect William Ruto. Kenyans have spoken I respect their choice.”"Congrats to Raila for opting to resolve his grievance in the courts and for calling for calm!”. She urged the Kenyan government to reflect and strengthen the electoral system and democracy.
