YOU ONLY NEED to watch a movie called Monster-in-Law and see what people go through on daily basis with their in-laws. Most people today are bearing the headache of how to deal with in-laws. When you marry into a family it is good maintain peace and harmony with your in-laws. Even the wildest of animals can be tamed, what about human beings? This is how to tame those wild in-laws.Show some respectWhen in-laws are talking do not respond back rudely. Give them the benefit of doubt and listen to them, even if you do not agree to what they are saying. Keep your marital problems privateDo not run to your in-laws with every little problem the two of you are facing. Involving them in your problems will only result in unwarranted advice. Setting boundaries We all have likes and dislikes; communicate your boundaries to them very early in your marriage and they will respect you for that. Be polite and courteousIn a bid to look good in the eyes of our in-laws we go overboard with flattery. It is better to be cordial and show some degree of politeness. Call them once in a while and ask about their well-being without asking too many questions to look like as if you are prying on them.Never take sidesNever take sides with your family against your spouse. If you do this you would have given leeway to your family to disrespect not just your spouse but your family as a whole. Protect your spouse with all your might.
