In-form league leaders Rayon Sport will have their work cut out when they take on an unpredictable Mukura side this evening at Stade de Kigali. The ‘Blues’ lead the league table standings with 35 points, one point better than second-placed Police FC, who are not in action this weekend, and a further 2 point ahead of the reigning champions APR in third place after 18 rounds of matches.Fifth-placed Mukura with 29 points go into today’s match still smarting from their 1-0 win over champions APR in their last league outing.Rayon have not lost a game since Frenchman Didier Gomez da Rosa took charge just over three months ago, and it promises to be an interesting game between the two teams, one pushing for their first league title in eight years, while the other seeking to finish as high as possible on the table. "We want to win the league.  That’s our focus and it is possible because we came from bottom to be on top, I know Mukura is a good team, very difficult to beat but we are ready for the game,” Frenchman Gomes told Sunday Sport.Mukura’s Burundian coach Gilbert Kaze has set his team the target to win all their remaining games in the league."My goal in the second half of the season is to win all our matches. We need to finish as high as possible on the table, so it is important that we win on Sunday against the league leaders, who have not lost under their new coach,” he said.
