The renowned Rwandan male artist Choga style commonly known as Rafiki Mpazimpaka is struggling to release his debut album due to be launched next month.

Speaking to The New Times, Choga style revealed that he is working very hard to see that his first Album "Ica mbere” is out by the end of next month.

The event will be attended by some renowned artists including Prof.J, Big Falias and Chameleon.

Early this year Rafiki was invited by a Jamaican born friend Leon D to the Afro-Caribbean festival were he toured different countries, performing with different artist from around the globe.

Asked what experience he got from tour, he disclosed that he met different artists of high profile a thing that made him change some things in his singing style, which added much value to his own.

He named his album "Ica mbere” (The first one) meaning that it’s his first album and he still has a long way to go.

Choga style called upon all Rwandan artists to work together so that they can catch up with other countries in the region, since Rwandan music industry is the one lagging behind.
