Dear editor,

I am greatly convinced that people who hold public offices should resign when they fail to deliver.

Much is being said about different resignation of some Mayors in the country.

But why do we expect somebody to continue holding a public office when he is messing.

These offices are meant to serve the population and no one whatsoever has the right to sit on people’s rights to be served with all the diligent necessary.

Are you interested in helping your community and state, and willing to give a lot of your own time to public service?

Then do it better by resigning if you fail. Developing a culture of resigning from public office is a very positive gesture of concern.
