Rwanda 0-3 Club CrthageThe U-21 national volleyball team lost their final warm-up match against Club Crthage on Thursday ahead of the Junior Africa Championships which start on Saturday in Sidi Bou Said, Tunisia.Paul Bitok’s team lost against Tunisian first division side Club Crthage 3-0 (26-24, 25-22 and 25-20). Earlier on Tuesday, the junior team had beaten another Tunisian league side Hammem Linf 3-0 [25-15, 25-22, 25-22].The competition is scheduled to get underway today, however, by press time, a technical meeting taking place to make the draws. Rwanda could start against host, Tunisia because normally, the host have the right to choose whom to play first."This is normal, to lose the game, but we still have our goal to achieve so we are ready for the competition,” Rwanda Volleyball Federation (FRVB) technical director Christian Hatuminama told Saturday Sport from Sidi Bou Said on Friday.The countries taking part in the continental championships are Rwanda, Sierra Leone, Republic Democratic of Congo, Libya, Egypt, Algeria, hosts Tunisia and South Africa.Meanwhile, International Volleyball federation (FIVB) Tunisian instructor Djerad Abderimajid closed a one week coaches’ course on Wednesday.Thirty local coaches, including 18 men and 12 women participated in the course which was organised by the FRVB ahead of the start of new league season on March 20.
