AFTER being given Harambee Stars coaching role, Belgian Adel Amrouche has publicly blasted Amavubi coach Milutin Sredojovic Micho following his comments in the local media recently after he was snubbed for the Kenyan coaching role.Amrouche said, "Everyone knows that Micho applied for the head coach job but he was overlooked. He came here (Kenya) personally to negotiate for the job but the FKF (Federation of Kenya Football) boss Sam Nyamweya never gave him room for discussion.”"Everyone in Kenya knows that he is not a good person to deal with; he is not honest and he is not even competent. I don’t know why he is over me yet it was his fault in the first place to be interested in the Kenyan job yet he had an unfinished business with Amavubi,”"He spends his time dishing out money, bribing everyone. I can’t do such a thing in my career and that is why Kenya picked me because of my experience in Burundi and Congo; it’s my football capability that speaks for itself. I don’t spend time bribing journalists such that they can talk good things about me just like Micho does,” he ranted."Even if he spends 50 years working, Adel Amrouche cannot win the trophies I have won in my career as a coach nor can he match my experience.”"I reached the semi final of the Champions League, lifted Cecafa club championship and even reached the final of the Senior Challenge Cup and many more, nonetheless, I am wishing him success in his job,” Micho said recently insisting  he never applied for the Harambee Stars role.The fuming Belgian coach also commented on how former Amavubi assistant coach Jean Marie Ntagwabira missed out assisting him on the Kenyan coaching role."Micho is the one who even went ahead and informed my bosses here in Kenya that I would bring on Ntagwabira as my assistant coach. I don’t know what they talked but it was not good news on the innocent coach whom I have known for years and wanted to work with because he is a professional coach,”"I told Micho a few days ago before signing my contract to be trustworthy and respect the contract he has with Amavubi. I don’t know how much he is paid but I think at this time he should be thinking about the (upcoming) World Cup Qualifier against Mali other than complicating his work,” added Amrouche.Amrouche, who was unveiled as Harambee Stars coach recently, beat Micho, former France coach, Raymond Domenech, and Uganda Cranes’ Bobby Williamson to the job.Micho’s 19-year career in the dugout has seen the Serbian coach teams in Yugoslavia, Tanzania, Uganda, Ethiopia, South Africa and currently Rwandan.‘Micho’s’ highlight will undoubtedly be the league triumph during his stint at Sudanese outfit Al Hilal in 2010.The Serb, who signed a two-year contract with Amavubi in 2011, got his Amavubi career off to a bright start, winning four of his first five matches, but things have since taken a drastic U-turn. The down­ward spiral started with the 2013 Nations Cup qualifier against Nigeria followed by three warm-up matches ahead of 2014 Fifa World Cup qualifiers against Algeria and Benin. It started with a 2-1 defeat against Libya, followed by a humiliating 5-1 defeat at the hands of Tunisia.The Wasps then drew their final warm-up match against Chad (1-1). At this stage, Micho knew that Amavubi would struggle against Algeria and that was indeed the case as the North Africans ran amok with a 4-0 victory. The team regrouped to grind out a 1-all draw against Benin in their second 2014 Fifa World Cup qualifier. The Serbian now needs to ensure a win in next month’s 2014 Fifa World Cup return leg qualifier against Mali. Rwanda lie bottom of Group H with one point, three adrift of leaders Benin.
