Last night’s 2010 World Cup and African Cup of Nations qualifier game between Morocco and Rwanda was Morocco’s interim coach Fathi Jamal last game in charge as he steps aside for Frenchman Roger Lemerre to take over.

Roger Lemerre, whose contract is due to end on June 30 languishes his post as Tunisia’s national team coach at the end of the month.

The Tunisian FA named Umberto Cuelho as the national team’s new head coach.

53-year-old Cuelho lead Portugal to the finals of Euro 2000, where they lost against France, and then managed Morocco from 2001 to 2003.

The decision to change coaches has been taken following Tunisia’s home defeat to Burkina Faso, a 2010 World Cup and African Cup of Nations qualifier.
