The Public Service Commission has criticised employees and job seekers for fearing to report cases of injustice.PAC Executive Secretary Angelina Muganza, who was addressing a news briefing, last week, said by not reporting, victims leave commissioners hand-tied to solve the cases.Muganza said despite many injustices that the job seekers and employees might have faced, the commission has only examined 208 complaints against 96 public institutions.She said 77 of the complaints were reviewed and 31 were established to have been compelling.Muganza said the commission deals with all issues which are unjust where employers may mistreat employees in any way, ranging from nepotism, sexual harassment, corruption in recruitment among others.Muganza urged job seekers and employees not to keep quiet in case they meet any kind of job while in search or employed."There are allegations of corruption in public institutions, but we don’t see any complaint. If there are people who are asked for a bribe to get a job, it is better to report so that concerned institutions can act accordingly,” Muganza said.
