THE COLOUR CLASHING trend has been on for a while but it seems to get better each year that passes by. There are no basic rules to the trend. It is all about having fun with colours. Colour clashing is where you match colours that would never be put together in art (which, of course, determines fashion). Like yellow and purple, orange and green and many more combinations. You see, in art, there are colours that, if put together, produce another colour. For example, the result of putting blue and yellow together is green. Yet, back in the day, fashion was all about being perfect. But the colour clashing trend shows that that is not the case anymore. However, you must also avoid looking trashy. Even when you are not following the traditional rules of colour combination, the rule still remains that you should be smart. Colour clashing doesn’t mean you should wear all colours in your wardrobe because that may make you look like a Christmas tree. At most, stick to three colours. Say, you could do a combination of red, purple and orange. You can have fun with this trend without having anyone scrutinizing you. So, go right ahead and have fun with colours!
