After signing two Rwandan international players Fravien Ndamukunda and Marshal Pierre Kwizera, Kibungo Institute of Agriculture, Technology and Education has signed three more players as they target to win the national league for the first time.Ndamukunda and Kwizera played for the Algeria first division club Al Mihlia last year.The latest signings include right attacker Jimmy Rurangwa, setter Christian Shingiro both from National University of Rwanda, and left attacker Marco Rukebesha from St Joseph.The Ngoma-based side also recently extended contracts of two other U-20 players, Bienvenu Biyenzi (centre) and Peter Bigirimana (libero).The new signings will follow other good players including right attacker Richard Muhirwa, Jean Claude ‘Sisqo’ Hatungimana, Alexandre Umulinzi, Jean Claude Mangau, centers Williams ‘Songo’ Mudahemuka, Nepo Niyibizi and setters Mandela Gahire and Prince ‘Postor’ Birori.The team has an ambition to become a major force in the national league by signing the best players."Our main target is to do well in the league and that’s the reason we sign them, we need the team to compete on high level in the league and other competitions,” said coach Dominique Ntawangundi.Last year, INATEK finished in fourth position but they are targeting to do better this season, which gets underway March 20.
