Editor,Thanks Sunny for bringing back the debate on succession. What I find most absurd is the way the real issues of who and how can President Kagame be succeeded in the most peaceful and acceptable way and how his unprecedented achievements can best be maintained and surpassed. The debate has been hijacked by third term proponents. Can they tell us where in Africa third term has benefited a country and its people? They shouldn’t forget that we live in an intertwined world, where our actions and their consequences cannot remain under our control. We need to support the President’s call for Rwandans to start thinking of who and how he will be succeeded, instead of diverting the discussion to third term talk, which, in my opinion,  is detrimental to the country’s progress, so far attained.Peace, Addis Ababa, EthiopiaReaction to Sunny Ntayombya’s opinion piece, "Rwandans are talking; may this continue”, (The New Times, February 20).
