Men

Group A: Gisagara, Police and IPRC-Ngoma

Group B: APR, REG and KVC

Women

Group A: APR, Ruhango and IPRC-Kigali

Group B: RRA, Police and IPRC-Huye

Gisagara have been drawn in the same group with rivals Police in the Liberation Cup 2023 volleyball tournament.

The two-day competition starts Saturday, July 8. It will attract 12 teams – six in the men’s category, and six in the women’s category.

Gisagara, Police, IPRC-Ngoma, APR, REG and Kigali Volleyball Club (KVC) are the men’s teams, while APR, Ruhango, IPRC-Kigali, RRA, Police and IPRC-Huye are the women’s teams.

In each category, the teams are in two groups. In the men’s category, Group A consists of Gisagara, Police and IPRC-Ngoma, while Group B has APR, REG and KVC.

In the women’s category, Group A consists of APR, Ruhango and IPRC-Kigali while Group B includes RRA, Police and IPRC-Huye.

The group stages will be held at Kimisagara court and Kimironko court, while the finals are expected to take place at BK Arena.

The best two teams in each pool will advance to the semi-finals.
