Confirming the duo’s acquisition, Coach Jean Bahufite said, the signings highlight the club’s vision of giving chance to the young players. According to Bahufite, Hatumintwari and Kayitana, will be getting experience from the clubs veterans who include; Bievenu Ngandu, Aristide Mugabe and Kami Kabange."We will field young players and experienced players which will help the team in future and in upcoming years they will be able to compete at the highest level”. "It’s important to strengthen our team in preparation for the title next year, they are good players and signing them is good but they still have to work hard and the fans should give them time” "They will be good for the future; it would help us in the playoffs and upcoming season”. Unbeaten Espoir celebrated their fourth national basketball league regular season title after trouncing 30-Plus 133-30.The Nyamirambo-based outfit won all their 15 league games to remain the only unbeaten team this season, and they could make 16 straight wins, a record for any Rwandan league champions if they win their last game against last year’s champions KBC on Saturday.It has been a long nine years of waiting for the league title for one of the country’s oldest club.
