TOMORROW’S ENTERTAINMENT at Ishyo Arts Centre consists of music from three continents combined together and branded Joyful Sound Concert. The show is organised by Kigali Music School’s Tiina Sinkkonen, Opera Helsinki, Classic Marie-Elisabeth Hecker Cello and Svetlana Meerman. This free concert takes place from 6pm to 8pm at the Ishyo Arts Centre Hall in Kacyiru. Carole Karemera, Director of the Ishyo Art Centre, says it’s more than just a concert meant to promote cultural diversity."These international artistes have been in Rwanda for a while. They have carried out workshops and training sessions with Rwandan artistes and this joint effort will help them learn a lot from each other. Let us hope this will yield future collaborations with other artistes,” she said.Other than the concert, the international artistes are coaching upcoming artistes at the Kigali Music School to help them improve their talent.The concert is jointly staged by the Oakdale Kigali Music School, Positive Productions and Ishyo Arts Centre.
