Editor,Reference is made to Sunny Ntayombya’s opinion piece, "Goodbye Pope Benedict XVI, I won’t miss you though”, (The New Times, February 16).The pope should at least be given credit for resigning as he is the first Pope to bow out in 600 years. While the world has changed as the years go by, the Catholic Church has not changed that much since its establishment. Other churches today have women priests, married pastors, Gay bishops, advocate use of condoms and birth control.
