Rwandan striker Danny Usengimana is on a one-month trial with Belgian fourth-tier side KFC Merelbeke, hoping to be signed in the ongoing summer transfer window.
Times Sports understands that the Police FC attacker has been in Belgium for the past week. He featured for Merelbeke in their 9-1 defeat to Gent.

Usengimana, 27, was an integral part of Police FC in the 2022/23 season when he scored a couple of crucial goals for them including the winner against AS Kigali on February 4, 2023.

He previously featured for clubs including the now defunct Isonga, Singida in Tanzania, APR and Police FC.
Merelbeke finished sixth in the 2022/23 Belgian Second Amateur Division league table with 53 points from 34 games. They are looking for strikers to beef up their squad.
