Of a ... HeadteacherKaremera Frank is the Headmaster of Group Scolaire Camp Kanombe. Located in Kanombe about 3km from the airport, his school has Nursery, Primary and Secondary levels. Karemera is a Born Again Christian and a member of the Restoration Church. His alarm goes off at exactly 5:00am and he starts his day with a 30minute prayer."After thanking my God for keeping me alive through the night and insuring the new day in his hand, I take a shower, have my breakfast and at 7:00am sharp, I’m at the school where we have a general  assembly.”"After, I meet my teachers briefly and if there’s an issue that needs to be addressed we solve it together. I also check if all teachers have reported for duty on time, check the hygiene at school, toilets, classrooms and compound. I then head to my office where I usually find parents and guardians with various problems or some other issues they want me to look into.”"This always takes up most of my morning, all the way to lunch. If I’m lucky to get a few minutes, I go for lunch, from lunch I go to attend meetings at the sector, district or at the Rwanda Education Board. My working day always ends at 5:00pm.”
