EWSA in drive to reduce water losses

The Energy, Water and Sanitation Authority (EWSA), in conjunction with Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), is training 62 of its technicians in efficient leakage detection and leakage repairing to avoid water losses. According to the Deputy Director General of EWSA, James Sano, (C) those are the topmost shortcomings they are faced with as they lose close to 30 per cent of revenue through leaks and faulty meters. Kobayashi Hiroyuki (L) the JICA representative in Rwanda said they deemed fit not to retain the knowledge they had picked up from u2018our citiesu2019. u201cWe are willing to train more Rwandans if this is the outcome!u201d Grace Gatera
