Algerian to handle Amavubi, Morocco game

Algeria’s Mohammed Benouza has been confirmed by the world’s football body Fifa to officiate tomorrow’s 2010 World/Africa Cup qualifier between Morocco and Rwanda at Mohammed V stadium in Casablanca.

Algeria’s Mohammed Benouza has been confirmed by the world’s football body Fifa to officiate tomorrow’s 2010 World/Africa Cup qualifier between Morocco and Rwanda at Mohammed V stadium in Casablanca.

Benouza will be assisted on the lines by Abdel Nabi Sadek (Egypt) and Joseph Jason Damoo (Seychelles) while Djamel Haimoudi (Algeria) is the fourth official.

Yacouba Quedraogo is named as the referee assessor while Tarek Bouchamaoui is selected as the match commissioner.

The 36-year old Benouza has been a full international referee for Fifa since 2001.
