The recently crafted Zimbabwean draft constitution has been described by South African academics as a progressive document to move the country forward.The Zimbabwean Minister of Regional Integration and International Cooperation, Priscilla Misihairabwi- Mushonga, told a gathering in Johannesburg that the constitution, though not one hundred percent perfect, has most positive things for the country.The Zimbabwean Government comprising of President Robert Mugabe’s Zanu P.F and the two Movement for the Democratic Change factions have been trying to spearhead the constitutional process.Priscila said: "There are lots of positive things for Zimbabweans in the constitution. They are terms limits for office holders up to the Presidential level, women to get fifty percent in government and state enterprises and the establishment of National Peace and Reconciliation to heal the country.”Agencies
