Veterans have been urged to form a federation to drive the interests of demobilised soldiers. The advice was sounded by the Rwanda Demobilisation and Rehabilitation Commission (RDRC), yesterday, in Kigali during a National Convention for Cooperatives.

The convention was aimed at educating the ex-combatants on the merits of cooperatives and to evaluate their activities in the various sectors across the country. Francis Musoni, the co-ordinator of RDRC programme, said a federation would help  veterans keep in touch and learn from each other. [Grace Gatera]
