Renowned local gospel singer Theo Uwiringiyimana, a.k.a Bosebabireba will perform in London, England next month.The 32-year-old singer will perform at the Hariben Bachubhai, Nagrecha Hall on March 29 in an annual gospel concert organised by the Ugandan Diaspora.Rwandan gospel singer Jackie Mugabo, based in London, is also expected to perform at the concert."I have received an invitation from the concert organisers,” the Ikigeragezo singer told The New Times."I am happy because this is an indication that our efforts are yielding fruits and that people appreciate our work,” the singer added."This is a chance to spread the word of God to the people and an opportunity to learn from others.”According to the singer’s agent, Theo Twahirwa a.k.a DJ Theo, the Gospel artiste is set to depart for London a few days before the concert date.Uwiringiyimana is famous for hits such as Icyifuzo, Bose babireba and Ikigeragezo.He will perform alongside several Ugandan artistes, among them Judith Babirye, Julie Mutesasira, Dr Tee and Pr Bugembe.Uwiringiyimana started singing at the age of 10 in church choirs and has released over 70 singles and seven albums, and is working on the eighth.
