MANY PEOPLE ARE GUILTY of having been in several relationships before settling for one. But how people deal with relationship break-ups differ from one person to the other. But how do you deal with a break up is important to you and will determine whether you can move forward or not. There are a few tips here of what not to do;Do not keep in touch with your ex Do not make a mistake of being stuck in the rut. Once the relationship is finished so should be everything else. These things of saying you are still a friend with your ex are a joke.  You would be imprisoned by the memories of the past and they will not let you move on.Try out something adventurousAfter a break-up it is advised that you try something new. If you have been angling to go mountain hiking so be it, if it is writing or reading then go for it. Just avoid doing things that will remind you of your ex. Free yourself from the memoriesMemories are forever but if they hurt, they are better off forgotten. Destroy anything that will remind you of the troubled relationship e.g letters, emails or gifts. It’s all in the mindThinking about a person who has dumped you will not help. Control your mind, and every time you veer off in thinking about him/her, get an activity that will distract you completely. To think about this person can give you crazy ideas like begging them to take you back. Do not go looking for your ex’s friends and new catchIf someone has decided to dump you, there is nothing you are going to do about it. Talking to his friends to persuade him to take you back is the last thing anyone can do,  threatening their new catch is even worse. You are exposing your vulnerability to everyone, and some people might just take advantage of that, so be careful. Don’t stalk your exThis is a reality; both men and women have been found guilty stalking their ex’s, by doing so you are lowering your dignity and integrity. Let by-gones be by-gones, the idea of following your ex to his favourite pub or to his work place is balderdash! Accept your fate, let him live his life and you live yours, get something constructive to do before you go gaga over someone who no longer loves you.
