Money changers contribute to Agaciro

The association of money changers, “Abakoranumurava”,  yesterday boosted the Agaciro development fund with Rwf6.9m.

The association of money changers, "Abakoranumurava”,  yesterday boosted the Agaciro development fund with Rwf6.9m.The money was handed over to the Ministry of Finance and Economic Planning.The association’s chairperson James Kamushana said they were driven by the desire to contribute to the country’s development."We know that this Fund will help in our country’s infrastructure development and we felt we should be part of this,” Kamushana said.Fidele Ngerero, who leads the committee in-charge of Agaciro Development Fund, commended the money changers for their contribution."It is wonderful how people can contribute such amount of money without pressure. This is what makes Rwandan values and it is natural,” he said.Officially launched on August 23, 2012, the Agaciro Development Fund is a solidarity fund designed to improve the financial autonomy of Rwanda.
