Editor,I totally agree with Daniel Kasule, in his column, "Even elders aren’t always right!” (The New Times, January 30, 2013). Elders get too much respect in African culture, as does religion and political officials; all this stifles freedom of expression and creativity. However, I am not sure players such as Haruna Niyonzima can be acclaimed without achieving anything beyond the CECAFA "bubble.”Ed Stoner, London
