Dear editor,

I don’t understand what men who call themselves gentlemen mean when their actions don’t match what they pretend to be. Two ladies and I went to Union Trade Centre to have dinner and what happened was embarrassing and shocking.

As we were almost sitting on a free threesome table, some sensible looking gentlemen who were standing and chatting nearby, out of the blue just took off and jumped into our sits. We politely told them that we got there first and that it was not right to push us like kids.

These men with no remorse just started arguing and to avoid stares from the crowd, we got another table. This was amusing because these guys though wearing suits did not understand that "Ladies First” should be part of their vocabulary.

I would understand if it was a wheel barrow pusher shovelling me away but a working class guy. There are simply no words to explain this kind of behaviour. The same applies when passing through a door or going through a narrow corridor.
