A few months ago, Washington, a leading music producer in Kampala started making songs for many Rwandan musicians (Kitoko, Urban Boys, Dream Boys, Allion…etc). Currently, Washington has become a regular visitor. However, he seems to have some serious competition. Just Jose (real name Joseph Mbabazi Mwima) has followed suit. He is in Kigali working with some Rwandan musicians.

He is in Kigali working with some Rwandan musicians."I have come here to see how the music industry is doing but I also want to meet some Rwandan musicians who are interested in doing music projects with me. Already, Knowless, Urban Boys and Uncle Austin have confirmed and I think I’ll be working with them all week,” said the 25 year old producer.Just Jose has been in the music production industry since the late 2000’s with Swangz Avenue and he is the man behind hits like "Ability”, "Whistle song”, "How we do”, "Love to dance”, "Ebintu”, "Kwekunyakunya” among others.Just Jose, who since last year left Swangz Avenue, runs a record label called Super Nova Music. He also plans to pick and promote raw talent that will be incorporated in his record label. Recently, they sold Ugandan rapper Keko to Sony Music.He has produced tracks that have won him wide recognition like the Whistle song which won best collabo and best hip hop song in last year’s Teeniez Awards, and "How we do remix” by Keko and the Goodlyf which won the most gifted East African Video at the Channel O Music Video Awards.
