Scandal is an American television series starring Kerry Washington as Olivia Pope, the crisis management persona. Her firm Pope & Associates works around the clock to protect the public image of the nation’s elite class by making sure that their ‘ dirty linen remains in their Kitchen drawers’. The plot of Scandal revolves around political drama and portrays the extent to which people will go to cover up their nasty secrets, some of which could affect national security.  The ‘Gladiators in Suits’ as Columbus Short playing Harrison Wright constantly calls his colleagues at Pope & Associates, keep you wondering whether they have a life because all they do is investigative and cover up situations that could lead to bigger problems. If it’s not a soon to-be-Chief Justice appearing as a client on a renown ‘Whore House’  list, then it’s a Senator killing an innocent man whom he finds having sex with his wife, convinced that her ‘rape’ scream is for real only to find out she was actually having an affair with the man!  The seven –episode- season keeps you at the edge of your seat waiting anxiously for what happens next.
