Sharks 28-0 Simba
Remera Buffaloes took advantage of a shaky Puma side to register the highest ever score in the National Rugby Super league.
The Buffaloes shattered Puma’s defense after scoring 150 points to register their third win of the season in as many games.
Fly-half Jimmy Mugabo masterminded Buffaloes’ scoring prowess with five tries, while Gerard Nsenga and Benjamin Makombe also raced their way to the score sheet with four tries a piece.
"Everybody is excited about our performance today. The score tells it all. You could visibly see that it was a one-sided game,” Buffaloes’ Gerard Nsenga noted. Buffaloes are now at the helm of the league table with nine points.
In the other games, UNR Grizzlies silenced 2006 champions Lion de Fer 18-10 while Sharks were awarded points by default after Simba’s failure to show up. Meanwhile, Gorillas’ tie against Tigers was postponed to a later date.
