The Women Today team welcomes you to this week’s magazine. Women Today is the one place where women’s interests come first. Their dreams, challenges and achievements are celebrated within these pages, and why not? Women are the silent engine of Rwanda’s social, economic and political development and progress. The issue of women in sports is one that hasn’t garnered enough attention in our opinion. This is why we interviewed Felicite Rwemalika, the founder of Association of Kigali Women in Sports, this week. Her take on the challenges that sports people face and their solutions is eye opening. Our very own Dr. Rachna Pande, an expert in internal medicine, talks about an issue in the news; food poisoning. Her advice, which you will find in the Wellbeing section, is extremely timely. Are you the kind of person to come home, straight from work and plop in front of the television to watch an interesting series? Or just make yourself some delicious food? Or perhaps you are the type to sip some tea and quietly enjoy a book instead? Well, if you are, turn to the Home section and see the suggestions we have for you.
