Young Tigers’ imperious start to the 2008 Sulfo league was short-lived after Sunday’s 60-run loss against the mediocre Indorwa side.

Despite a brave captain’s innings of 46 runs from Andre Kayitera, Young Tigers who were chasing for a third straight win still fell 52 runs short of Indorwa’s score 207, thanks to Indorwa’s medium pace bowler Vinith Kumar who picked four wickets.

"It was a great team effort today and credit goes to every one in the team. The victory has put has in a strong position and we are determined to preserve this lead,” Indorwa’s captain Romesh Thakkar explained.

Following this victory, Indorwa now top the league charts with eight points, Young Tigers are second while four-time record holders Kigali Cricket Club, defending champions Challengers and Right Guards are all level with zero points.
