As we count down days to naming baby gorillas, children continue to express their excitement over the coming event. It is so encouraging to see how our young generation is interested in caring for the rare and special animals.

For example Umutoni Delphina (11 years) knows that gorillas bring money to the country. In agreement with Delphina other children also said that gorillas are the most interesting and intelligent animals among others. Children correctly affirm that they attract many people including foreigners.

The Children Times wishes all children the best on this day (Kwita Izina). Let us continue to protect our gorillas. The day of naming the babies should always remind us of their importance in our country.
