Former La Jeunesse Fc coach Yves Rwasamanzi has been appointed the new coach of relegation battling Isonga Fc ahead of the start of the Primus National Football League second round.According to Isonga top management, Rwasamanzi will be assisted by assistant coach Innocent Seninga, Alex Mugabo will be the goalkeeper’s coach. Amavubi Stars team doctor Assouman Nuhu will be the new team physician, while Longin Habineza is the new team manager. The new technical staff have been tasked to make sure the youthful team does not drop from the top flight division. Rwasamanzi replaces Vincent Mashami, who was only appointed at the start of the current campaign as replacement for Eric Nshimiyimana, who crossed to league champions APR Fc.Alongside Mashami, goalkeeping coach Calliope Kabalisa, team manager Emery Kamanzi and team doctor Patrick Rutamu were also sacked due to poor run of results.Mashami was Nshimiyimana’s assistant last season and also Richard Tardy’s right-hand man when Rwanda finished runners-up in the 2011 Africa U-17 Championships and qualified for the Fifa U-17 World Cup finals in Mexico. In its debut appearance in the league, Isonga finished sixth after making a slow start, but the team is now struggling at the bottom of the league table with just 8 points after 13 rounds of matches.
