Like Jambo beach, you can also do boat riding, get good food, swim in the lake but they only serve non-alcoholic drinks.Relax @ Lake KivuIf you want to relax further, Lake Kivu in the Western province can do for you. There are numerous hotels and holiday villas surrounding the lake. Relaxing at the lakes extensive beaches is unavoidable and you can also do some swimming and boat riding while at these venues. National Parks & MuseumsAs far as tourist destinations go some of the attractions include the Volcanoes National Park, Akagera National Park and Nyumgwe. And if you have never been there before, each of these places can easily make your entire weekend. Take Huye District for example, located about 135 Km south of Kigali, it’s an attractively compact and peaceful town with a reputation of being the intellectual and cultural centre of the country. While there, visit the Nyanza Royal Palace—an impressive and enormous domed structure created entirely with traditional materials.
