Come February, Rwanda’s music video director based in the United States of America, Didier Ganza and his SO Africa Agency will be flying to South Africa for a video directing project with South Africa’s hip hop musician Double H P or "Hip Hop Pantsula” (real name, Jabulani Tsambo)This project will see Ganza direct a number of music videos and documentaries for Double HP and his crew. ‘I am so happy to be working with such a respected musician in the industry. It shows that my career has already taken the right path. What is left is to give my best and make sure that I get more deals from artistes of this caliber’, said Ganza while speaking to The New Times yesterday.Ganza heads SO Africa Entertainment, a group of artists, graphic designers, entrepreneurs, cinematographers, rappers and singers based in the USA. He is also the man behind videos like US rapper Hoodwink’s ‘Flawless’ and Apha Rwirangira’s hit, ‘African Swagger’. Since 2009, Ganza has been based in the US, pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Film and Entertainment Business at Full Sail University.Double HP whose track Mpitse won Best Video at the 2009 MTV Africa Music Awards (MAMAs) has so far released seven albums, namely; Introduction (2000), Maf Town (2001), O Mang? (2003), YBA 2 NW (2005), Acceptance Speech (2007), Dumela (2009),Motswafrika (2011)The Platinum-selling artist has done music collaborations with K’Naan, Nas and Talib Kweli and shared the stage with top international artists such as Snoop Dog, Jamie Cullum and Angelique Kidjo.
