Boosting your immune system

Editor,This is a nice article. But it would have been excellent if it contained a list of locally available food. I am afraid many people won’t benefit from the article as it contains technical and limited items that a Rwandan can think of.

Editor,This is a nice article. But it would have been excellent if it contained a list of locally available food. I am afraid many people won’t benefit from the article as it contains technical and limited items that a Rwandan can think of. So if you can please elaborate on your article and make sure you list those that are available in the Rwandan market.BarakaKimironko -----------------------------------------------Great article; however, it is short on some alternatives to some of the mentioned sources to help boost our immune systems i.e Omega-3 fatty acids. Omega-3 fatty acids - alternates that can be found in Rwanda would be using canola or soybean oils when cooking. A tablespoon of any of these oils is all you need per day to get the recommended amount of these fatty acids. Eat foods like walnuts, kales (sukuma-wiki), tofu, spinach and sprinkle flax-seed on oatmeal.Greg M.
