Iam not a fan of Manchester united but I have a longstanding admiration for the sporting policy of Manchester united manager Sir Alex Ferguson.The Scottish born has good leadership skills on and off the pitch; he has good transformation skills with good psychology and philosophy of the game.His recruitment policy is fantastic. Speed and accuracy inspires united attacking potential and certainly has the best attack in England.He has consistently made good signings for united during recent seasons and has brought in players who suit in his football systems.Though united has not been very good in shaping youngsters from the football academy into his senior team like other European giant clubs in Bayern Munich and Barcelona, he has often brought in right recruits.He knows how to scout talent and has brought valuable players at united. The likes of Javier Hernandez, Danny Welbeck, Phil Jones, Tom cleverly among others have been influential.He is not wasteful in terms of talent for the club. This has made him more reliable and a parent for the club. He does not splash money to buy players every season unlike big spenders Manchester city and Chelsea. He has hardly recruited incompetent players at the club. The only misfit to arrive at the club was nearly eight years ago, when united signed Owen Hargreaves for an estimated 20 million pounds from Germany giant club Bayern Munich.Bayern Munich doctors also played good sporting syndicate at the time as they managed to confuse their unitedcounterparts regarding the extent of Owen injury. The former English international had been on top form at Bayern for successive seasons and was part of Bayern Munich champions’ league winning team in 2001. The English media was too much on him, very much wanted by English FA and eventually chose to trade his sparkling form in England.Hargreaves inspired united to the English premier league title during his first season but recurrence of ankle injury cut short his playing time at old Trafford.Sir Alex Ferguson became the culprit for Hargreaves signing but united medical team is largely to blame. The medics should know better the health status of a playerthan the coach.Apart from Owen, United has never recruited an expensive flop again. Ferguson is a good educator and very ethical at work. He knows how to collect mistakes from his players with longstanding solutions.Manchester has been very consistent than all top four clubs. In all seasons, united has been a hot favorite for English premier league title without massive influx of new players. He signs young talents and glooms them. The likes of Wayne Rooney, Rio Ferdnand and Patrice Evra arrived at old Trafford in tender age but have matured into experienced and reliable players.At united; every player has to learn and adapt to the club sporting policy. This has eased work ethics of the scot at old Trafford. You cannot find the kind of Ballotelli or Carlos Tevez behavior at united. The spirit of winning games is always kept high at united and this is one of benefits from discipline on a sporting perspective.Again, Sir Alex should be hailed for his great transformation potential at united. Many players have developed into better players than at previous clubs. Though Dutch international Robin vern Persie (RVP) signed from rivals Arsenal arrived on a high goal scoring record. I believe the Dutch man has improved his goal scoring potential at united than before. Presently,RVP has become a modern striker who can lose and re-gain ball control. His attacking play is now multi-dimensional. He can attack from the left, middle or right side of the pitch to score goals.His already the leading top scorer with 16 goals in English premier league and will certainly score more goals by the end of the season than in previous season while at arsenal. He is shaping his game progressively and his imaginative power has improved ever since he arrived at the new club.United under Sir Alex leadership had installed a policy not to recruit players aged above 26 years. But he later deemed it necessary to bring in 29-year- old goal machine who is leading united English premier league title charge at the moment.
