There is no better way to show off your personal fashion style than with a statement necklace. American jeweler Judith Jack, who is famous for antique designs, took the statement necklace more exotic with a gold and crystal snake collar necklace. The girl-next-door purse and shoe fashion designer Kate Spade crafted a pearl and crystal blossom statement necklace on a satin white string.  And yet it’s Philadelphia native Tory Burch who brings the best designs to the table with several statement necklaces in her collection: a pink resin and gold oversized linked chain with a classical approach, a necklace with branded large coins that toggle, and a half-moon collar with an ultra-modern full pendant oversized circle. The Hollywood celebrity scene can’t get enough of this style: showing it off from walking their dogs on the street to the red carpet at the Oscars. Gossip Girl starlet Leighton Meester wore an art deco geological inspired statement necklace with a simple black top and softly swept up hair. German model and fashion host Heidi Klum wore a triple layer turquoise stone necklace to this year’s Golden Globes.  And at the annual State Dinner, American first lady Michelle Obama wore a beautiful multi-strand blue statement necklace with an off-the-shoulder Marchesa gown. The best way to wear a statement necklace is to wear a scoop necked top that outlines your necklace. However, wearing strapless is also a great way to show off your piece. Statement necklaces can be made of any material: metal, stone, crystal, resin, plastic or even cloth.
